Spring Break 2020 Soccer Camp - March 23rd through March 27th

Overview

PSG Academy Plantation will hold this year's Spring Break 2020 Soccer Camp at Plantation Central Park for children  between 7 and 14 years old. The program will be run by Coach Fabian Trejo. Coach Fabian is a former player for the Mexico national team and holds many accreditations for coaching.  Click here to view his profile.

Structure

The program will consist of 3 hours of soccer training on grass fields, 1 hour for a lunch break, 1 hour free time in the Central Park pool, followed by 2 hours of futsal technical training on the former hockey rink.  

Cost

The full program will cost $180 per participant for the week, Monday through Friday.  For players who wish to end their day at 2pm and skip futsal, the cost will be $150.

 The program's daily schedule is as follows:

  •  8:30am - 9:00am Early drop-off
  • 9:00am - 12:00pm: Soccer 
  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch (bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks!)
  • 1:00pm - 2:00pm: Swimming Pool (weather permitting)
  • 2:00pm - 4:00pm: Futsal (or Dismissal) 
  • 4:00PM - Dismissal 
  •  4:00pm - 4:30pm late pick up

Location

All participants are to meet the coach at the Central Park soccer concession stand (between soccer fields 4, 5, 6, and 7) between  8:30am and 8:55am and will be led to our assigned field from there. Participants may be picked up at any time. Participants remaining for the futsal session must be picked up by 4:30pm. Click here to see the Central Park field map for location detail.

 

Participation

Parents should ensure that their children are physically able to play outdoors for the durations outlined on this page.  Sick children or children exhibiting symptoms of fever will not be allowed to be participate and should be kept at home.  Participants should come dressed to play outdoors (shorts, t-shirt) with their own properly inflated soccer ball, soccer cleats and shinguards with socks pulled over the shinguards. Participants should also bring a lunch and drinks (refrigerator provided),  a bathing suit and towel for the pool , and they must pass a swimming test to participate in swimming pool at Central Park.  Futsal participants must bring flat bottomed sneakers or soccer shoes (no cleats).
